Pridefall Nightfall demands to know what's going on and Kahvi shows her the Little Egg and explains that she is a Wolfrider, she just wants to return the wolf-blood to her tribe. Nightfall causes Kahvi an epiphany in explaining that a Chief leads, not uses and that she (Kahvi) needs to learn to be PART of her own tribe before she'll be a worthy leader, especially a Wolfrider chief. So she sets off on foot to lean how to be part of a wolfpack so she'll BE a Wolfrider and on the way she rescues a wolf, who then travels with her. During a winter storm the wolf saves HER and she learns how the bond between the wolves and WolfRiders is a bond of love and need. Kahvi returns to the GoBack tribe and explains that they're all WolfRiders from Two-Spear's time. Then Tyldak returns and they reconcile.
